Freebird catamaran cruise with dolphin and whale watching (Costa Adeje, 2h)
If you want to see dolphins and whales off the coast of Costa Adeje, this 2-hour catamaran cruise is one of the easiest and most enjoyable options.
The cruise starts in Puerto Colón and heads towards the area where cetaceans living in these waters are most often spotted. During the trip, the crew explains the species found in the area — their habits, feeding methods, migrations, and how they live in their natural environment.
The animals most commonly seen are pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, and spotted dolphins. Watching these animals in the open ocean is the main highlight of the cruise.
After the wildlife watching part, there is time to relax — you can sit back, enjoy the views, soak up the sun and, if conditions allow, swim in the ocean. Drinks are available on board, making this a great option also for people who simply want to spend some time on the ocean without a full-day excursion.
At the end of the trip, the catamaran returns to Puerto Colón.
