This is a longer cruise for people staying in the north of the island who want to see the cliffs of Los Gigantes and the Masca area from the ocean while also sailing through waters where dolphins and pilot whales are often spotted.
The excursion includes pickup from the northern part of Tenerife, followed by a transfer to Puerto Colón, where the catamaran departs towards Los Gigantes and Masca. This route combines wildlife watching with truly spectacular scenery, so the experience is much more than simply “searching for dolphins.”
During the cruise, the crew explains the species that live in these waters — their habits, movements, feeding methods, and behaviour in their natural environment. The most commonly seen animals are pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, and spotted dolphins.
After this part of the trip, there is time to relax near the Masca coastline. You can unwind on deck, enjoy the views of the cliffs and, if conditions are good, go for a swim. At the end of the cruise, the catamaran returns to Puerto Colón, followed by transport back to the north of the island.

Bookings are made online. After payment, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details regarding your activity.

Yes. Free cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the cruise starts. If the cancellation is made later or you do not show up, no refund will be given.

If weather conditions are uncertain, the decision to cancel the cruise is based on the latest AEMET weather reports.
10. Will I definitely see dolphins or whales?
This cannot be guaranteed 100% because these are wild animals, but the chances are high.
11. Is there a swimming stop during the cruise?
Yes, if ocean conditions allow it.
12. What if I get seasick?
If you are prone to seasickness, it is best to ask a doctor or pharmacist in advance about motion sickness tablets. In rougher sea conditions, you may feel unwell.
13. Is food included in the price?
Yes. Lunch, water, soft drinks, beer, and sangria are included in the cruise price. Ice cream is available at an additional cost.
14. Can I request a gluten-free or vegan meal?
Yes, but this must be requested at the time of booking.
15. What if I cannot find the pickup point or the Freebird bus?
