Aqualand
Aqualand in Costa Adeje is a water park that is simpler and more relaxed than the large parks on the island — and that is exactly its advantage.
You will find classic water slides here — from faster ones like Kamikaze or Tornado to more family-friendly attractions where you can slide together. There is also a wave pool and several attractions that allow you to simply have fun without spending too much time waiting in long queues. Separate areas have been prepared for children. Mega Adventure Land and Pirate’s Island are places where kids can really enjoy themselves — smaller slides, water attractions and climbing elements. There are also shallow pools and newer areas such as Pelican Bay or Pirates Splash Tower, designed so children can use them independently and without stress.
The biggest difference compared to other water parks is the dolphinarium. Every day there is a dolphin show — quite intimate, but well organized and including educational elements. You can also purchase additional experiences that allow you to spend more time with the dolphins — closer, in small groups and without crowds. If you need a break, there is the Lava River, outdoor jacuzzis and relaxation areas where you can simply sit down and rest.
This place is best suited for families with children and people who are not looking for extreme attractions, but rather a calmer day in the water. If you have visited Siam Park before, the atmosphere here is clearly different — less intense and more relaxed.
It is worth knowing a few things in advance. During the summer season, a Fast Pass is available (from around €20), although due to the smaller crowds it is not always necessary. Sunbeds, lockers and access to the Dolphin Planet area are charged extra. Parking is free. The park usually operates from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (in summer until 6:00 PM), and the dolphin show takes place at 3:30 PM — worth considering when planning your day. There are bars and restaurants on site, so you can comfortably eat without leaving the park. The ticket includes access to all water attractions and the dolphin show. If you are looking for a place closer to Costa Adeje, with smaller crowds and an environment more suitable for children — Aqualand is definitely worth considering.
