If you are planning to hike Teide, it is worth knowing about one important change.

Since March 16, 2026, reservations for regulated hiking trails are now available up to 56 days in advance, instead of only around 4 weeks ahead as before.

In practice, this means one thing:
if you want to plan your hike earlier, it is now much easier. The system already shows a wider range of available dates, so there is no need to wait until the last minute to check the schedule.

It is also worth remembering that new spots are released every Monday at 7:00 AM Canary Islands time. If you want a specific date, it is best to check exactly at that time.

Reservations are managed through the Tenerife ON platform, which is also linked from the official Teide National Park reservation website.
