Flipper Uno – 3-hour dolphin and whale watching cruise

Flipper Uno is a wooden boat handcrafted in Tenerife. It was built in the shipyards of Alcalá and Playa de San Juan, and the construction took 18 months. Even the wooden dolphin at the bow was carved by hand. The boat has been sailing from Los Gigantes since 1996 and remains one of the most recognizable vessels in this part of the island.

The cruise starts in the port of Los Gigantes and heads towards the open ocean, where dolphin or whale watching takes place. Afterwards, the boat sails along the cliffs of Los Gigantes and Masca. From the sea, you can truly appreciate how enormous these rock walls are — in some places they rise almost 600 meters high.

Along the route there is a stop in one of the bays with crystal-clear water. This is the moment for a swim and some relaxation. You can enter the water using the ladder or slide down by zipline if you prefer a more adventurous option. After the swim, lunch is served, and drinks are available throughout the entire cruise.

An official whale watching guide is present on board and explains the animals, cliffs, and route of the trip in the participants’ language. Thanks to this, the experience is not just about sailing, but also about understanding more of what you actually see along the way.

1. How does the booking process work?

Booking is completed online. After payment, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details regarding the activity.

2. Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel your booking provided you do so at least 24 hours before arrival, and we will refund 100% of the amount paid. If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before arrival, 100% of the paid amount will be lost.

3. Can I change the date?

Yes, the booking can be changed by notifying us at least 24 hours in advance, provided there is availability on the newly selected date.

4. Will I receive an electronic ticket?

Yes. You only need to show the confirmation on your phone.

5. Is the attraction safe?

Yes. We only cooperate with trusted and certified operators.

6. Do I need previous experience?

No. The instructors provide a full briefing before the activity begins.

7. Is hotel transfer available?

Transfer is not available.

8. What happens in case of bad weather?

If the event is cancelled due to weather conditions, the date and time will be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend, you will receive a full refund.
