Freebird catamaran cruise with dolphin and whale watching (Masca, Los Gigantes 4,5h)
This is a longer catamaran cruise for people who want to combine dolphin and whale watching with views of some of the most beautiful places on the west coast of the island. In this option, besides the open ocean, you also get to see the cliffs of Los Gigantes and the Masca area, making this cruise more scenic than the shorter versions.
The cruise starts in Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje. The catamaran sails towards Los Gigantes and Masca, an area where pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, and spotted dolphins are often seen. During the trip, the crew explains the species living in these waters — their habits, movement, feeding methods, and how they behave in their natural environment.
After the wildlife watching part of the cruise, there is time for a more relaxing moment. The catamaran stops near the coast of Masca, where you can relax, enjoy the views, and, if conditions are good, swim in the ocean. One of the highlights of this route is also the scenery itself — the Los Gigantes cliffs look completely different when seen from the ocean.
At the end of the cruise, the catamaran returns to Puerto Colón. Pickup from selected areas in the south of Tenerife is also included in the price, so there is no need to organize your own transport to the port.
