Kayaking and snorkeling in Masca Bay
This is one of the best activities in this part of the island because it is more than just kayaking. First, you travel by boat towards the Barranco Seco area, and only from there does the actual kayaking route towards Masca Bay begin. Along the way, you paddle beneath the cliffs of Los Gigantes, which rise up to around 600 meters above the ocean, so the scenery alone is already impressive.
The route is designed to combine several experiences in one activity — there is a boat transfer, kayaking, some snorkeling, and time to simply enjoy being on the water. The kayaks are stable and also suitable for beginners, and throughout the activity the group is accompanied by a guide on a safety boat. Thanks to this, there is no feeling of stress or chaos, even for people trying it for the first time.
After reaching the bay, there is time for snorkeling in clear water, followed by a short break and the return boat trip to the port in Los Gigantes. It is a great option for people who want to actively explore the Masca area without a very demanding physical effort.
